COVID-19 Updates

If you have questions regarding her experience receiving the Pfizer vaccine, please feel free to ask during your appointment.

Pain Relief Lady is open, both you and her need to wear a MASK as per the latest Government guidelines announced 2 July 2021 until Monday 5 July 2021.

The clinic adheres to the below Covid-Safe Clinic Procedures which are now standard procedures for the clinic. These procedures are in place for your and others’ wellbeing:

  • Standard requirement: If you live or have frequented current or recent hotspot areas (then click on Public Exposure Sites), please switch to an Online Body Consult or Telehealth Counselling appointment
  • Standard: if you have a fever first followed by a cough (medical advice of symptom progression for Covid-19 – opposite to normal flu) then please switch to a Telehealth appointment.
  • Standard: If you have a head cold this is not considered a Covid-risk, ie. your sinuses are blocked, your nose is runny, or you are coughing up phlegm – this is a cold and not a Covid-risk, and you may attend your appointment to receive treatment to get well.
  • Standard: Linen is fresh each client and boil washed in 95 degree water, or you are welcome to bring your own linen
  • Standard: Appointments are spaced so client crossover is reduced.

If this situation changes, announcements will be posted as soon as practical.

Many thanks for your understanding and support of Pain Relief Lady for your Counselling and Pain Relief needs.

Pain Relief Lady Believes Health Of The Human Body And Mind Should Not Be Considered In Terms Of Ownership By Any One Medical Or Health Profession.
She Believes All Health Professions Are Complementary To Each Other And Should Be Engaged With By People Who Require Assistance With Their Health.

By abiding by this code, Pain Relief Lady aims to enjoy her work as part of life and art. Her aim is to be respected while alive and be remembered with affection thereafter. Pain Relief Lady will always act to preserve the evidence-based protocols of Natural Pain Management and Counselling. May she long experience the joy of helping those who seek her assistance. And may her clients long enjoy wellness and relief from all manner of pain by engaging with her services.

This Code, prepared and supported by Pain Relief Lady, states the principles that form the fundamental basis of the roles and responsibilities of her as a practitioner and owner of the clinic. These principles, based on moral obligations and virtues, are established to guide her as a practitioner and teacher of clients, of other health professionals, and society.

Respect for Client-Practitioner Relationship

As a Health Professional, I respect the covenantal relationship between client and practitioner. Considering our professional health relationship as a covenant, means I accept moral obligations in response to the gift of trust received from you as my client. In return for this gift, I promise to help you achieve optimum benefit from treatment to the best of my ability, to be committed to your welfare, and to maintain your trust.

Client’s Best Interests and Health Are Key

As a Health Professional, I promote the good of every client in a caring, compassionate, and confidential manner. I place concern for your wellbeing at the centre of my professional practice. In doing so, I consider needs stated by you as well as those defined by health science.

Client Participation In Your Treatment Plan

As a Natural Pain Management Specialist and Counsellor, I respect your autonomy and dignity and your right for self-determination. I promote individual self-worth by encouraging you to actively participate in decisions about your health. I communicate with clients in terms that are understandable. In all cases, as a Health Professional I respect personal and cultural differences among clients and between us.

Open, Honest, Non-Discriminatory Practice

As a Natural Pain Management Specialist and Counsellor, I act with honesty and integrity in my professional relationship with you. I have a duty to tell the truth and to act with conviction of conscience. I guard against discriminatory practices, behaviour or work conditions that impair professional judgment, and actions that compromise dedication to the best interests of my clients. I respect your privacy, with communications held in confidence unless information is required in a medical emergency, as stipulated by law, or with your consent.

Ongoing Professional Education

I maintain professional competence and take my duty to maintain my clinical knowledge and abilities very seriously. My aim is to stay current with the best in treatment techniques, aids, and technologies as they become available and as health information advances.

Respect For Other Health Professionals

As a Health Professional I acknowledge and respect the values and abilities of colleagues and other health professionals. When appropriate, I consult other health professionals or will refer you to another professional. I acknowledge that other health professionals may differ in the beliefs and values they apply to the care of my clients.

Practitioner Obligations To Community

As a Natural Pain Management Specialist and Counsellor I serve individual, community, and societal needs. My primary obligation as a Health Professional is to my individual clients. However, my professional obligations may at times extend beyond you as the individual to the community and society. In these situations, I recognise the responsibilities that accompany these obligations and acts accordingly.

Fair and Equitable Distribution of Knowledge

As a Natural Pain Management Specialist and Counsellor I seek justice in the distribution of health resources especially ‘knowledge to promote self-empowerment’ for my clients.
